Aircraft  factory was established in 1950 for very special production and very  new field in that period of time, which is Fixed Wing Aircraft Industry. And Aircraft factory became one of Arab Organization for Industrialization affiliate in 1975 when AOI was established.

Aircraft Factory is one of the key pillars of the AOI and one of industrial entities in Egypt and the Middle East due to what the factory has of cutting-edge technology and modern machines enabling it to work in variant civil and military fields

• Deepening the local manufacturing of sewage treatment plants components such as (blade rotors / bridges / metal tanks / metal constructions for cranes and containers / Mechanical Bar Screen with belt conveyor for

• sewage treatment plant 10,000 m3/day/ gates

• Low pressure electricity distribution boards manufacturing workshop.

• Ultra filtration plants assembly workshop

• From 1950 to 1990 production of many aircraft (Cairo 200 / Cairo 300 / Alphajet / Tucano / Dassault aircraft parts / fuel tanks / radar door) / military trailers / workshop caravans / cooking trailer / water trailers for the army.

• 1990 Excess capacity was used by adding civilian products to military products such as sewage treatment plants with oxidation ditch system.

• 1993 F-16 aircraft parts in cooperation with General Dynamics
