The Arab Organization for Industrialization is one of the leading entities in Egypt that has been interested in localizing technology in the field of pump manufacturing, and has prepared trained and qualified human cadres according to the latest manufacturing technologies in this important industrial field for all comprehensive development projects, in implementation of the state's plan and its interest in localizing pump manufacturing, deepening local manufacturing and reducing imports.

In this context, a partnership agreement was signed between the AOI 's engine factory, the Italian global company Idrofoglia Srl, and Korra For Energy and Investment Projects Company, signed by Major General Engineer "Gamal Ramdan", Chairman of the Engine Factory, Dr. "Raffaele Brugnettini", CEO of the Italian company " Idrofoglia Srl ", and Engineer "Mohamed Ayman Korra", Chairman and Managing Director of "Korra" For Energy and Investment Projects Company.

 During the signing ceremony, Major General Engineer "Mokhtar Abdel Latif", Chairman of the Arab Organization for Industrialization, expressed his appreciation and pride in this cooperation with both the Italian global company " Idrofoglia Srl, and Korra For Energy and Investment Projects Company, noting that this cooperation is taking place in accordance with a clear vision adopted by the Arab Organization for Industrialization to attract investments and enhance cooperation with major international companies and the serious Egyptian private sector.

He explained that the areas of cooperation include transferring and localizing the technology of manufacturing pumps of all types, including split pumps, deep pumps, high-pressure pumps, pump parts, maintenance and after-sales services in line with the target markets, and using the latest technological means available for these industries. He pointed out the importance of legislating the manufacturing process and reducing production costs in accordance with international quality standards.

He referred to all efforts made to localize the pump industry locally and deepen the industrial base at the engine factory affiliated with the Arab Organization for Industrialization, explaining the available capabilities and modern devices used in the Digital Manufacturing Center (DMC) affiliated with the engine factory in order to meet the needs of the Ministry of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities projects for pumps of various types.

He added that we look forward to this agreement to enhance partnership and cooperation to raise production capacity and increase manufacturing capabilities of pumps to cover the needs of the local market, in addition to exporting abroad, in accordance with Egypt's vision for sustainable development 2030.

For his part, , Dr. "Raffaele Brugnettini", CEO of the Italian company " Idrofoglia Srl " , expressed his appreciation for this cooperation with the Arab Organization for Industrialization, the industrial backer of the Egyptian state, expressing his aspiration to localize the latest pump manufacturing technologies, and work on implementing joint projects to meet all the needs of the local Egyptian market, Arab and African countries, and work on opening new outlets for export to the global market.

 In turn, Engineer "Mohamed Ayman Korra", Chairman and Managing Director of "Korra" For Energy and Investment Projects Company.", confirmed that this cooperation will represent a great addition to the Egyptian economy, especially since we will work on designing and implementing joint industrial projects in the field of pumps, with national manufacturing capabilities at the engine factory affiliated with the Arab Organization for Industrialization, according to the latest international quality standards.
