The Arab Organisation for Industrialisation (AOI) signed on Thursday an MoU with the China North Industries Corporation (NORINCO) on technology localisation in Egypt.
Abdul-Meniem Al-Toras, the chairman of AOI, said that the MoU was signed as part of the AOI's ongoing plan to upgrade and improve its production with the latest technologies in different industries.
He also added this cooperation between AOI and NORINCO would meet the needs of the Egyptian Armed Forces, as well as in upgrading the railway control and signalling systems.
Chi Le, the representative of NORINCO in Egypt, said that his company is looking forward to cooperating with the AOI in different fields.
