Major General. Engineer Mokhtar Abdel Latif, Chairman of the Arab Organization for Industrialization, received H.E. Teodoro Obiang, Vice- President of the Republic of Equatorial Guinea, and the accompanying ministerial delegation.
This visit comes within the framework of the successful steps taken by the Arab Organization for Industrialization to enhance aspects of partnership and cooperation and increase the volume of intra-trade with sister African countries.
During the meeting, they discussed strengthening cooperation mechanisms and benefiting from the advanced capabilities of the Arab Organization for Industrialization to meet all the needs of development projects and defense and security industries in the sisterly Republic of Equatorial Guinea, and identifying proposed aspects of cooperation between the two sides in various fields of manufacturing, in accordance with the latest systems of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, digital transformation and artificial intelligence. In addition to studying the opening of a market for Egyptian products in the Republic of Equatorial Guinea, as an important step towards enhancing constructive cooperation between the countries of the African continent.
In this regard, the Chairman of the Arab Organization for Industrialization stressed the importance of strengthening cooperation with the countries of the African continent, and implementing the directives of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi to open new horizons of cooperation and integration with our African brothers in all industrial and economic fields, and opening new export outlets in Africa.
He expressed his pride in the joint relations between the two countries, and the importance of continuing coordination and joint work and strengthening the bonds of cooperation by opening new fields for all fields of defense and security industries, pointing to the interest of the Arab Organization for Industrialization to participate in development projects in the Republic of Equatorial Guinea.
During his inspection of the Arab Organization for Industrialization’s products exhibition, the Vice President of the Republic of Equatorial Guinea stressed his country’s keenness to strengthen partnership and cooperation relations with the sisterly Republic of Egypt in all industrial and development fields, indicating his pride in this visit to the Arab Organization for Industrialization, the industrial backbone of the Egyptian state, pointing out the importance of coordinating efforts with the AOI to achieve Integration and localization of the latest manufacturing technologies in all topics of common interest.
He also expressed Equatorial Guinea's great appreciation for Egypt and its pioneering role on the African continent, and its efforts to meet the aspirations of its people for development and prosperity, especially in light of its effective contribution to advancing joint African action efforts, especially with regard to enhancing intra-African trade and investments between African countries.
