Major General Engineer "Mokhtar Abdel Latif", Chairman of the Arab Organization for Industrialization, inaugurated the production line for safe gas stove valves at the Arab British Dynamic Industries Company (ABD) affiliated to the organization, in the presence of Major General / Ihab Amin
Assistant Minister of Industry,
Engineer / Mohamed El Mohandes
Head of the Engineering Industries Chamber,
Major General Engineer "Abdel Rahman Abdel Azim Othman", General Director of the Arab Organization for
Industrialization, and Major General Engineer "Yasser Attia", Chairman of ABD Company.
This step comes within the framework of Egypt's vision for sustainable development 2030, which the Arab Organization for Industrialization is pursuing to localize technology and increase local manufacturing rates, to bridge the import gap and provide hard currency under the slogan (Made in Egypt), by making maximum use of the advanced manufacturing capabilities of the organization, in cooperation with the Ministry of Industry and the Chamber of Engineering Industries.
The production line of safe gas stove valves is the first of its kind in Egypt with a capacity of one million valves annually, as it is planned to expand by adding production lines to reach a capacity of 5 million Safe valves annually within 3 years.
In this context, Major General Engineer "Mokhtar Abdel Latif", Chairman of the Arab Organization for Industrialization, stressed the interest in localizing the technology of manufacturing safe gas stove valves in all their forms and domestic and industrial uses, pointing out that the organization is training engineers and technicians according to the latest standards of the Fourth Industrial Revolution inside and outside the Republic.
He added that the Arab British Dynamic Industries Company (ABD) has succeeded in manufacturing safe valves for gas stoves, with a 100% local manufacturing rate, noting that it has begun supplying many safe gas valves, to meet the increasing requirements of the local market for these valves, as the AOI produces these valves for safe cooking stoves, traditional cooking stoves, and chlorine cylinders used in water purification plants, as the manufacturing and supply of 25 million traditional valves and chlorine cylinder valves have been completed, and 100,000 safe gas valves are currently being manufactured and supplied, and coordination is currently underway to sign various contracts to expand the quantitative production of safe gas stove valves, to cover the needs of the Egyptian market and export.
He pointed out that the Arab Organization for Industrialization is looking forward to enhancing cooperation with all ministries, government institutions and the private sector, in addition to give integrated smart solutions in the fields of design, manufacturing and assembly with Egyptian thought and creativity and the national manufacturing capabilities of the Arab Organization for Industrialization, for all requirements of natural gas application industries (valves - smart meters - transitional connections) to meet the needs of the local market, in addition to exporting to African and Arab countries.
