Major General. Engineer "Mokhtar Abdel Latif" Chairman of the Arab Organization for Industrialization, Mr. "Sul Hoon" President of the National Assembly for Defense Affairs in the South Korean Parliament and the accompanying delegation from the Korean National Assembly, and senior officials of the Korea Aerospace Industries (KAI) and Hanwha Aerospace Industries (Hanwha), in the presence of Ambassador "Hong Jin Wook" South Korean Ambassador in Cairo

During the talks, the executive steps to implement the agreement of the Arab Organization for Industrialization with the Korea Aerospace Industries Company (KAI) to localize the technology of manufacturing an advanced training aircraft to meet the needs of the armed forces, and export to African and Arab countries, were discussed, by making use of the advanced production capacities of the aircraft factory of the Arab Organization for Industrialization.

Partnerships were also discussed to deepen and increase the proportions of local manufacturing, transfer and localization of technology, by taking advantage of the manufacturing capabilities of Arab Industrialization and the expertise enjoyed by the South Korean industry in the field of automobile industry, subway vehicles, environmentally friendly transportation, electronics, digital transformation, software, communications, information technology, renewable energy and treatment plants. Water, seawater desalination plant membranes, medical industries and multiple manufacturing fields.

In this regard, Mokhtar Abdel Latif expressed his pride in the visit of the delegation of the National Assembly to the South Korean parliament, senior officials of Korean companies, and the Korean ambassador in Cairo, stressing that the Arab Organization for Industrialization is looking forward to enhancing joint cooperation and increasing investment opportunities and partnership with major South Korean companies in the industrial fields. And the implementation of development projects, pointing to the increase in marketing opportunities for joint products in the markets of African and Arab countries.

He also stressed the importance of cooperation and partnership to localize the technology of manufacturing advanced training aircraft through the exchange of experiences and training of human cadres in the authority on manufacturing and maintenance work according to the latest digital manufacturing systems, expressing the aspiration of the Arab Organization for Industrialization to open new areas of cooperation in various advanced defense industries, through a committee Coordination between the two sides to follow up the implementation of joint projects.

For his part, Mr. "Sul Hoon," President of the National Assembly for Defense Affairs in the South Korean Parliament, expressed his pride in the importance of cooperation with the Arab Organization for Industrialization, the industrial backbone of the Egyptian state and its expertise in various manufacturing and human capacities in accordance with international quality systems in various industries.

In turn, the South Korean ambassador to Cairo confirmed that the Egyptian market is attractive to Korean investments and constitutes a strategic importance for the African and Arab regions, pointing to the keenness of major Korean companies and Korean businessmen and their aspiration to cooperate and establish partnerships with the Arab Organization for Industrialization.

Also, senior officials of the Korea Aerospace Industries Company (KAI) and Hanwha Aerospace Industries (Hanwha) stressed the importance of implementing the agreement with the Arab Organization for Industrialization to localize the technology of manufacturing advanced training aircraft, and to strengthen partnerships with Arab Industrialization in many other defense industries..
