Major General Engineer "Mokhtar Abdel Latif", Chairman of the Arab Organization for Industrialization, stressed the importance of participating in the activities of the World Conference on Population, Health and Human Development (PHDC'24), under the auspices of President "Abdel Fattah El-Sisi", President of the Republic, during the period from October 21 to 25, 2024 under the slogan "Human Development: For a Sustainable Future". At the St. Regis Hotel Conference Center in the New Administrative Capital.
He pointed out that the Arab Organization for Industrialization is participating with a distinguished and diverse pavilion in the activities of the second edition of the exhibition, which was inaugurated by the President of the Republic, where various fields of medical industries are displayed from the organization's products, which are characterized by the highest percentages of local components according to international quality standards and as an alternative to importing from abroad.
He added that there is a wide governmental interest in encouraging local manufacturing and localizing medical industries, which paves the way for transforming Egypt into a leading regional center in this field, noting that the Arab Organization for Industrialization has succeeded in localizing many medical industries according to international quality specifications, which is a positive step towards achieving Egypt's vision for sustainable development 2030.
He pointed out that the Arab African Company for Medical Industries, the Arab British Company for Dynamic Industries (ABD), Kader Factory for Advanced Industries and the Electronics Factory affiliated with the Arab Organization for Industrialization are participating strongly in the exhibition, to highlight medical and non-medical manufacturing capabilities.
He stated that the Arab Organization for Industrialization's pavilion at the exhibition includes the latest medical products produced by the organization, including artificial joints, medical plates and screws, safe syringes, surgical threads, operating capsules, medical beds, CT and MRI devices, as well as medical clinic equipment.
