A delegation of the Senate Defense and National Security Committee, hosted by the Arab Organization for Industrialization


Major General. Mokhtar Abdel Latif, Chairman of the Arab Organization for Industrialization, expressed his welcome to the visit of the delegation of the Senate Defense and National Security Committee, praising the role played by the Egyptian Parliament, as it is witnessing a strong move towards achieving the goals of the new republic with new thought and a conscious mind.
This came within the framework of the visit of a delegation of the Senate Defense and National Security Committee, headed by Major General. Dr. Osama Kamel Montaser, to the electronics factory of the Arab Organization for Industrialization.
Major General. Mokhtar Abdel Latif, Chairman of the Arab Organization for Industrialization, was keen to open an open dialogue with the delegation of the Defense and National Security Committee, where he referred to the historical role of the Authority, that giant industrial edifice that was established in Egypt in 1975, with the participation of three sister Arab countries: The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and the State of Qatar, to be a strong Arab industrial shield in the field of various defense industries, pointing to the development of its activity throughout its history, until the AOI has now reached the point of owning (fourteen) factories and companies, working in various defense and civil industries, and it has become an edifice Industrially, its advanced manufacturing and technological capabilities are no less than the ranks of major global industrial institutions.
 He stated that the Arab Organization for Industrialization aims to modernize and develop technology, to achieve the goals of the new republic, and develops a clear strategy to attract investments and enhance cooperation and partnership with local and international government and private sector entities, especially since the authority enjoys the flexibility provided by its international regulations.
He reviewed its pivotal and important role in meeting the needs of Arab and African brothers in the defense and civil industries, as well as its plan to deepen and increase the rates of local manufacturing, transfer and localization of modern technology in partnership with major international companies in many fields of industry, including, for example, defense industries, money transport vehicles, and the fields of renewable energy and economics. Green, communications, electronics, tablets, digital transformation, medical industries, drinking water purification and sewage plants, railway and subway industries, environmental protection projects, water and energy rationalization, office furniture, and other areas of comprehensive development.
He also touched on the participation of the Arab Organization for Industrialization in the presidential initiative “A Decent Life” and said that it is a golden opportunity to localize the industry and rely on the local product in implementing various projects for our people in the Egyptian countryside, providing job opportunities for the local community, and managing basic services in Egyptian villages in a decent, modern way.
He added that Arabian Industrialization established the June 30 factory for polyethylene pipes, equipped with various diameters and connections, on which infrastructure projects, drinking water and sewage purification stations, and canal lining depend, noting that the Authority has a center for digital manufacturing for various industries in accordance with the standards of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, pointing to the AOI’s interest. Arab Manufacturing Company to localize the manufacture of various types of pumps.
He also explained the Arab Organization for Industrialization’s interest in implementing digital transformation projects for all institutions and ministries in the country, in addition to the Arab Organization for Industrialization undertaking the project to furnish and furnish the buildings of the government district and the Houses of Representatives and Senate in the New Administrative Capital.
He pointed out that the Arab Organization for Industrialization has developed an ambitious plan that will be successfully implemented in all of the AOI’s factories and companies, which is represented in two axes: the first axis is developing and modernizing all manufacturing machines to work with the digital control system, and in parallel the second axis is training and qualifying human cadres in all specializations in a manner consistent with manufacturing, production, quality and management systems.
He added that the AOI pays great attention to cooperating with universities and scientific research centers and supporting the implementation of industrially viable ideas of innovators and inventors, pointing out its keenness to implement the state’s plan to achieve industrial integration with various companies, governmental industrial institutions and the private sector.

During the inspection of the electronics factory’s production lines, the delegation of the Senate Defense and National Security Committee expressed their admiration for the factory’s products, including tablets, surveillance cameras, electronic screens, and others, expressing their appreciation for the distinguished success of the Arab Organization for Industrialization in modernizing the production lines in a modern way worthy of the new republic, where they saw how the digitized machines work. To manufacture electronic devices in accordance with international quality standards, in order to achieve a safe digital transformation targeting a better return on investment, raising production efficiency and quality, controlling costs, deepening and increasing the proportions of the local component, and localizing technology.
