Major General Engineer "Mokhtar Abdel Latif", Chairman of the Arab Organization for Industrialization, Lieutenant General "Mahmoud Fouad", Commander of the Air Force, Ambassador "Eric Chevalier", French Ambassador to Cairo, Mr. Christophe Bruneau, Executive Vice President of Safran Engines Group , witnessed a new achievement for the Egyptian industry, with the approval of the French Safran Engines Group for the engine factory affiliated with the Arab Organization for Industrialization, as the only international center for the overhaul of the Larzac engines for the Alphajet aircraft.
The event was also attended by Major General Engineer "Gamal Ramadan", Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Engine Factory affiliated with the Arab Organization for Industrialization, and a number of senior officials in the French Air Force and international airlines.
This came within the framework of the activities of the first day of the distinguished participation of the Arab Organization for Industrialization in the Egypt International Air Show in New Alamein City.
According to this opening, the engine factory affiliated to the Arab Organization for Industrialization is the only entity approved and licensed globally by the engine manufacturing company to carry out overhaul, maintenance and repair of the LARZAC engine installed on the Alfajet aircraft.
In this context, Major General. Engineer "Mokhtar Abdel Latif", Chairman of the Arab Organization for Industrialization, expressed his appreciation for the cooperation with the French Safran Engine Group, and its excellence in producing and manufacturing aircraft engines.
He explained that the areas of cooperation are related to the areas of overhaul, maintenance and repair of the LARZAC engine by benefiting from the advanced manufacturing capabilities of the engine factory affiliated to the Arab Organization for Industrialization.
He pointed out that we look forward to the Arab Organization for Industrialization factories being a hub for enhancing aspects of cooperation, partnership and exchange of expertise with the French Safran Engine Group, to meet all local needs and those of sisterly and friendly countries.
For his part, Mr. Eric Chevalier, the French Ambassador to Cairo, praised the important role played by the Arab Organization for Industrialization in the field of strategic industries, stressing the French Republic's welcome and support for everything that supports cooperation between the two countries and opens up horizons for investment, exchange of expertise and integration between the two sides, which benefits the two friendly peoples, pointing out the discussion of benefiting from the great investment capabilities in the Arab Organization for Industrialization, to be an industrial hub to increase France's exports to Arab and African countries, and which contributes to increasing the volume of targeted trade exchange between the two countries during the coming period.
For his part, Mr. Christophe Bruneau, Executive Vice President of Safran Engines Group , expressed his pride in cooperating and concluding partnerships with the Arab Organization for Industrialization, a pioneer in many defense industries in the Arab and African region, pointing out that SAFRAN has strict quality requirements, which is achieved in the engine factory affiliated with the Arab Organization for Industrialization.
It is noteworthy that the French Safran Engines Group made several tours inside the engine factory, where it inspected the advanced manufacturing capabilities in the factory, which showed the extent of compatibility and conformity with the requirements of quality management, operation and production at the French Safran Company through the implementation of specialized reviews in the field of quality and technical field, which received approval and praise from the French review team, and was a motivation to obtain the engine factory certificate license. The celebration activities also witnessed the delivery of certificates of accreditation to Major General Engineer "Mokhtar Abdel Latif", Chairman of the Arab Organization for Industrialization, and Mr. Christophe Bruneau, Executive Vice President of Safran Engines Group , for specialists in the overhaul line from engineers and technicians in the engine factory, amid praise from the French side for the minds and skills of the human cadres in the factory, according to the latest mechanisms of the Fourth Industrial Revolution.
