Nevin El-Kabbaj, Minister of Social Solidarity, and Lt. Gen. "Abdel Moneim El-Terrass", President of the Arab Organization for Industrialization, witnessed the signing of a cooperation protocol to support the "Forsa" program, one of the economic empowerment programs within the social protection system in the Ministry of Social Solidarity.
Al-Kabbaj said that the interest of the political leadership tends to provide many societal protection programs to ensure a decent human life for all citizens, noting the concerted efforts made in a systematic context to confront this issue as a requirement of national security.
The Minister of Solidarity stated that the Ministry relies heavily on cooperation with the ministries and productive bodies, including the Arab Organization for Industrialization, praising cooperation with the authority and its pioneering role in adopting many societal issues, explaining that the "Forsa" program complements the social protection system and the solidarity and dignity program and other social programs presented to the poor To help them move from aid to financial independence, and more flexible livelihoods, and thus help these people achieve self-sufficiency.
She added that cooperation with Arab Industrialization is fast in achievement, commitment and quality, explaining that cooperation exists in many areas with the authority, such as the initiative to protect homeless children and provide clean drinking water and sanitation stations to the villages most in need.
Al-Kabbaj pointed to the agreement to study the needs of the beneficiaries of the “opportunity” program of machines and equipment and present them to the Arab Organization for Industrialization to manufacture these equipment at a price lower than prices in improving the economic level of takaful and dignity beneficiaries, in addition to setting up joint exhibitions of Arab products for manufacturing in the regions and governorates according to the timing Available in the exhibitions plan at the authority.
Al-Kabbaj also praised the authority's efforts to increase the rates of local industrialization in various fields of industry, stressing that the ministry is fully prepared to provide all facilities and cooperation to achieve the maximum possible benefit from the authority's capabilities and to manage all the needs of the Ministry of Social Solidarity and its various units in the governorates of Egypt from the products of the Arab Organization for Industrialization.
For his part, Lt. Gen. Abdel-Moneim El-Terras, President of the Arab Organization for Industrialization, affirmed that the issue of protecting the poor is one of the biggest challenges on the national level for many years, stressing the implementation of President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi’s assignments of the importance of joining all efforts of state institutions to confront this issue with the latest scientific methods and organizing Expanded awareness campaigns at the level of the republic so that everyone realizes his responsibility towards solving this issue.
He added that the participation of Arab Industrialization in support of the "Forsa" initiative comes from the social responsibility of the authority and its national role in employing all its capabilities from distinguished human experiences and advanced technological capabilities to support the state's efforts to achieve comprehensive development for all citizens and contribute to solving that problem that haunts society with its repercussions And social and economic problems.
The “Terrace” indicated that it was agreed to provide 3 equipped equipments without financial value for the practical experience to give them to the beneficiaries of the program an opportunity to invest in production and increase income, in addition to making available the new products of the Arab Organization for Industrialization according to the needs of clients and beneficiaries of the program to promote it through the programs available to him The level of the governorates of Egypt.
He also indicated that the opportunity to apply for a number of the Authority’s jobs is provided according to needs, as well as periodic training for multiple groups of Forsa program beneficiaries to qualify them to work in specialized professional jobs required by the labor market, whether in Arab Industrialization or other entities.
In a related context, Al-Terras indicated that the Arab Organization for Industrialization is keen on continuing the production process and managing the production wheel through the production of sterilization units and protective requirements in order to support the state in taking all precautionary measures and measures to prevent the emerging corona virus.
The signing of this protocol comes within the framework of the Ministry of Social Solidarity's tendency to transfer the beneficiaries of cash support programs to productivity through training, employment and self-employment.
