In this regard, Major General Engineer "Mokhtar Abdel Latif", Chairman of the Arab Organization for Industrialization, explained that this achievement comes as a result of continuous efforts and diligent work by the human cadres at the SEMAF factory affiliated to the organization, in cooperation with the Near East Services and Sustainable Development Company (NES), where the grant was made after a comprehensive review of all manufacturing stages at the SEMAF factory and it was confirmed that all stages conform to the international specification. Noting that the SEMAF factory is the fifth company to obtain the certificate according to the latest 2023 edition worldwide.

He pointed out that what we are witnessing of achievement, we primarily aim to enhance exports and open new horizons of partnerships with major international companies and increase marketing opportunities and enter new markets by obtaining new contracts internationally, and attracting investments in the field of railway industries, metros and smart transportation.

He stated that the SEMAF factory's obtaining of the Quality Management Systems in Railway Car Industries (IRIS) certificate confirms our manufacturing capabilities to work with a global mindset and increase productivity, and meet all the needs of the Ministry of Transport with high-quality products. And increasing our international customer base and increasing export rates, with advanced products bearing the slogan "Made in Egypt", in implementation of the directives of President "Abdel Fattah El-Sisi", President of the Republic, to localize technology and deepen local manufacturing, in light of Egypt's vision for sustainable development 2030 and the goals of the new republic.

The Chairman of the Arab Organization for Industrialization was keen to extend his thanks and appreciation to the Ministry of Transport, for its support for all aspects of joint cooperation and to everyone who contributed to achieving this achievement, expressing deep gratitude to the Near East Services and Sustainable Development Company (NES) for its confidence in the SEMAF factory and its continuous support.

For his part, Engineer "Osman Mohamed Osman", a pioneer in the field of quality in Egypt and founder of the Near East Services and Sustainable Development Company (NES), expressed his appreciation for this successful cooperation with the Arab Organization for Industrialization, stressing that the SEMAF factory affiliated to the Arab Organization for Industrialization obtaining the international (IRIS) certificate is a great competitive and preferential advantage, to enter strongly to increase export rates to African and Arab countries from the factory's products in the field of railway industries.

The honoring ceremony witnessed the delivery of certificates of appreciation to the engineers and technicians at the SEMAF factory, who successfully passed the training program, which was organized in cooperation with the Near East Company for Services and Sustainable Development.
