Manufacturing electronic doors In cooperation with the AOI and the Transport Information Technology Company According to the latest Swedish experiences

 

Successful and ongoing steps taken by the Arab Organization for Industrialization to localize technology, increase local manufacturing rates, And manufacturing what is currently imported  and attract investments in partnership with major international companies.

Among these steps was the signing of a tripartite memorandum of understanding between the Arab British Company for Dynamic Industries (ABD), affiliated with the Arab Organization for Industrialization, the Swedish international company Gunnebo  Middle East, and the Transport Information Technology Company (TransIT), affiliated with the Ministry of Transport.

It is noteworthy that the Arab British Company for Dynamic Industries (ABD), affiliated with the Arab Organization for Industrialization, succeeded in manufacturing the initial sample of electronic gates with a local manufacturing rate of no less than 50%, in cooperation with the Swedish international company Gunnebo  Middle East, in order to meet the requirements of the Transport Information Technology Company (TransA). T), affiliated with the Ministry of Transport, where senior officials from the Swedish company Gunnebo   praised the quality of the sample in accordance with international quality standards And Swedish.

The signing ceremony of the memorandum of understanding was witnessed by Major General Engineer Abdel Rahman Abdel Azim Othman ,General  Director General of the Arab Organization for Industrialization, and  H.E Mr hákan emsgárd., the Ambassador of Sweden in Cairo.

In this context, Major General. Engineer Mokhtar Abdel Latif, Chairman of the Arab Organization for Industrialization, expressed his appreciation and pride in this joint cooperation, stressing the Arab Industrialization’s interest in maximizing the slogan (Made in Egypt), reducing imports, and increasing added value in various industries.

He added that the Arab Organization for Industrialization is looking forward to strengthening cooperation with both the Swedish international company Gunnebo   Middle East and the Transportation Information Technology Company (TransIT), in starting the mass production of electronic gates, as well as developing smart integrated solutions in the fields of design, manufacturing and assembly, for all Electronic doors for various projects to meet the needs of the local market, as well as export to African and Arab countries.

He explained that the areas of cooperation include manufacturing, assembling and supplying all types of electronic doors for projects (for metro, companies, malls, public authorities and airports  and border crossings ) with a local component of no less than 50% as a first stage in accordance with the latest technologies of the Fourth Industrial Revolution.

For his part, Mr. Jacob Toma, Vice President of the Swedish international company Gunnebo   Middle East for the Middle East Region, expressed his pride in cooperating with the Arab Organization for Industrialization, pointing out its distinction in completing all areas of cooperation with the required efficiency, the highest levels of quality, speed in implementation, and delivery on time, as well as For after-sales service.

H.E Mr hákan emsgárd, the Ambassador of the State of Sweden to Cairo, praised the important role played by the Arab Organization for Industrialization in attracting investments and localizing the latest manufacturing technologies, stressing the State of Sweden’s welcome and support for everything that supports ways of cooperation between the two countries, opening investment horizons, exchanging experiences, and integration between the two sides, in a way that returns For the benefit of the two friendly peoples.

In turn, engineer Khaled Mohamed Attia, Chairman and Managing Director of the Transportation Information Technology Company (TransIT), explained that this cooperation will represent a great addition to the Egyptian economy, especially since we will work to design and manufacture all electronic doors for various projects with Egyptian thought and creativity and with the AOI ’s national manufacturing capabilities.
