Talks of the Chairman of the AOI and the Ambassador of Bulgaria in Cairo

Major General. Engineer "Mokhtar Abdel Latif", Chairman of the Arab Organization for Industrialization, Mr. "Dian Angelov Katrachev", Ambassador of the Republic of Bulgaria in Cairo.

 

During the meeting, the vision of the Arab Organization for Industrialization was presented regarding deepening and increasing the rates of local manufacturing and the transfer and localization of technology in many different fields of industry, including the training of human cadres.

 

The talks also dealt with discussing partnerships, taking advantage of the manufacturing capabilities of Arab Industrialization and the experiences of the Bulgarian industry in the field of defense industries, the automotive industry, environmentally friendly transportation, renewable energy, water treatment plants, medical industries, electronics, information and communication technology, and various fields of manufacturing.

 

In this regard, Mokhtar Abdel Latif explained that the Arab Organization for Industrialization is looking forward to enhancing joint cooperation and increasing investment and partnership opportunities with major Bulgarian companies in new industrial fields and the implementation of development projects, pointing to studying increasing marketing opportunities for joint products in the markets of African and Arab countries.

 

  He added that the Arab Organization for Industrialization seeks to enter into partnerships in order to localize modern technologies in all industrial fields, which is an appropriate opportunity for joint cooperation, pointing out that the authority welcomes the visit of major Bulgarian companies and investors to the units and companies of the Arab Organization for Industrialization, to learn about the available manufacturing capabilities and study ways to strengthen partnership in the fields of common interest.

 

For his part, Mr. Dian Katrachev, Bulgaria's ambassador to Cairo, explained that the Egyptian market is attractive to Bulgarian investments and constitutes a strategic importance for the African and Arab regions, pointing to the keenness of the major Bulgarian companies and their aspiration to cooperate and establish partnerships with the Arab Organization for Industrialization, the industrial backbone of the Egyptian state, in all fields of various industries.

 

Ali stressed his country's real desire to expand economic cooperation with Egypt, expressing his willingness to build partnerships in several technological fields during the coming period.
