Major General., Engineer "Mokhtar Abdel Latif", Chairman of the Arab Organization for Industrialization, stressed the implementation of the directives of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi to strengthen partnerships with specialized global expertise, to localize modern manufacturing technology and to strengthen the state's plan to increase local manufacturing rates and produce national products under the slogan "Made in Egypt"".
This came during the signing of a memorandum of understanding between the Arab Organization for Industrialization and the Indian global company HILTON METAL FORGING LIMITED.
In this regard, Major General., Engineer Mokhtar Abdel Latif, explained that the areas of cooperation include the localization of technology for manufacturing railway wheels and various moving units, and the provision of advanced national products suitable for all uses for all transport and railway projects, which are witnessing a comprehensive development boom, pointing out To agree to train the engineers and technicians of the Authority's employees on the latest manufacturing techniques, according to the latest technologies of the Fourth Industrial Revolution.
He pointed out that it was agreed to increase the proportions of the local component, to save the expenses of importing the components that enter into this technologically advanced industry, pointing to the agreement to take advantage of the materials and equipment produced by Arab Industrialization, to design and manufacture the components of the technologies of this industry, according to international quality standards and competitive market prices.
He added that the Arab Organization for Industrialization is keen to establish fruitful strategic partnerships, and looks forward to cooperating with the global Indian company, in many other industries of common interest, to meet the needs of the local market, as well as export to African and Arab countries.
For his part, Mr. YUVRAJ MALHOTRA, Executive Director of the Indian company, Hilton, expressed his pride in cooperating with the Arab Organization for Industrialization, the industrial backbone of the Egyptian state, stressing that the Egyptian market is attractive and promising for investments and constitutes strategic importance for African and Arab countries.
He added that we are looking forward to strengthening the areas of cooperation with the authority in various industrial fields, praising the Arab Industrialization plan to develop manufacturing mechanisms according to the latest digital manufacturing systems.
