Engineer Mokhtar Abdel Latif, Chairman of the Arab Organization for Industrialization, said during the activities of the first day of the exhibition that the AOI aims to expand foreign contracts with various brotherly and friendly countries.
In appreciation of Egypt's regional and international status, many official delegations of brotherly and friendly countries participating in the activities of the EDEX 2023 exhibition were keen to inspect the pavilion of the Arab Organization for Industrialization, including visits by: Minister of Defense of the Republic of the Congo, Minister of Defense of the Republic of Burkina Faso and Chief of Staff of the Zimbabwean Army Chief of Staff of the Army in the State of Qatar And Chief of Staff of the Army of the Republic of Yemen A high-level Pakistani military delegation,
Who expressed their admiration for the AOI’s various new products in all defense industries. Including air ammunition (Hafez), a mobile multi-tasking automated command and control center, an armored riot control vehicle, a system for confronting drones and electronic obstruction, a new Egyptian radiological detection and measurement device, and the production of some aircraft parts in cooperation with the French company Dassault.
Major General Engineer Mokhtar Abdul Latif, Chairman of the Arab Organization for Industrialization, also inspected the pavilion of the Omani Zeed International Company, stressing the AOI ’s interest in strengthening cooperation with Zeed International Company on issues of common interest.
Discussions were also held and an agreement was signed with Square Tech to enhance cooperation and exchange of experiences in the field of defense industries in accordance with the latest digital manufacturing systems. In the context of enhancing investment opportunities, cooperation was discussed with the Emirati company EDGE, which is affiliated with the Emirati Tawazun Council.
