Major General Engineer "Mokhtar Abdel Latif", Chairman of the Arab Organization for Industrialization, received Dr. "Ashraf Sobhi", Minister of Youth and Sports, to discuss ways to enhance cooperation, in accordance with Egypt's vision for sustainable development 2030.
In the presence of Major General Engineer "Abdul Rahman Abdel Azim Othman", General Director of the AOI , and Eng. "Amin Masoud", Member of the House of Representatives.
The discussions addressed how to benefit from the advanced manufacturing capabilities of the AOI to meet all the needs and requirements of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, at competitive prices, in addition to enhancing digital transformation and artificial intelligence for the Ministry's projects.
The latest developments in the existing joint projects between the two sides were also discussed, including the implementation of 2118 projects for the Ministry of Youth and Sports. These projects include 1207 different sports fields, upgrading 78 youth cities and youth centers, 8 swimming pool complexes, and others. The upgrading and development of the Sharabia Youth Center is underway according to the timetable, and ways to overcome any obstacles are being discussed to meet all the requirements of youth and sports facilities with the required efficiency.
It is worth noting that the factories and companies of the Arab Organization for Industrialization, implementing these projects, include Kader Factory for Advanced Industries, Sakr Factory for Advanced Industries, Aircraft Factory, Electronics Factory, Arab British Company for Dynamic Industries ABD, and the Arab Company for Real Estate and Tourism Projects.
In this regard, Major General Engineer "Mokhtar Abdel Latif", Chairman of the Arab Organization for Industrialization, expressed his appreciation for the fruitful cooperation with the Ministry of Youth and Sports, pointing out the importance of enhancing this cooperation in developing sports and youth facilities.
He praised the efforts of the Minister of Youth and Sports in enhancing the development and modernization of all sports facilities, as well as introducing digital transformation systems and artificial intelligence in the modernization stages.
He explained that our cooperation with the Ministry of Youth and Sports reflects the great efforts made to develop sports facilities, stressing that the Arab Organization for Industrialization puts all its technological capabilities to participate in modernizing sports and youth facilities.
He added that it was agreed to form a joint committee to study all investment opportunities, enhance the benefit from the distinguished manufacturing capabilities of the Arab Organization for Industrialization, and participate in presidential initiatives and programs provided to youth in various fields.
The Minister of Youth and Sports expressed his pride in cooperating with the Arab Organization for Industrialization, one of the strongholds of national industry, praising its excellence in technical expertise and overcoming any obstacles to meet all the requirements of youth and sports facilities with the required efficiency and the highest levels of quality and speed.
The Minister of Sports added that the Arab Organization for Industrialization is considered a fundamental pillar in industrial development efforts in the region, advancing the national economy, and enhancing its competitiveness in the regional and international markets, as it contributes to achieving technological independence and enhancing production capabilities, as it is a role model in the field of innovation and development, and contribution In designing and manufacturing products that meet the needs of the local and international market, which enhances our economic position.
Dr. Ashraf Sobhi pointed out the Ministry of Youth and Sports’ keenness to expand its partnerships with the Arab Organization for Industrialization, which contributes greatly to achieving Egypt’s Vision 2030 in the field of sports.
During his inspection of the Arab Organization for Industrialization products exhibition, Dr. Ashraf Sobhi, Minister of Youth and Sports, praised the AOI's leadership in localizing the latest technologies for manufacturing sports equipment and supplies, and electric transportation means, as he inspected the products of the Kader Factory for Advanced Industries affiliated with the Arab Organization for Industrialization, which include light transportation means (bicycles - electric bicycles - electric scooters), which are manufactured entirely by the factory with a local component ratio exceeding 75%, with continued work to increase that percentage, and with the guarantee of the Arab Organization for Industrialization and at competitive prices and various payment facilities, noting that bicycles are assembled and manufactured in various categories and sizes, some of which are equipped to operate on electricity, in addition to deepening the local component in the manufacture of electric scooters with all parts and reaching the stages of manufacturing batteries with different capacities and with a quality that surpasses their imported counterparts.
