Major General Eng. "Mokhtar Abdel Latif" Chairman of the Arab Organization for Industrialization, and Minister "Alaa Farouk" Minister of Agriculture and Land Reclamation, witnessed the signing of a cooperation protocol between the Arab Organization for Industrialization and the Agricultural Research Center, affiliated to the Ministry.

The attendance included Major General Eng. "Abdel Rahman Abdel Azim Othman" General Director of the Arab Organization for Industrialization, Dr. Eng. "Khaled Shukry" Advisor to the Chairman of the AOI for Chemical Industries,

and Dr. "Adel Abdel Azim" Head of the Agricultural Research Center. .,

In this context, Major General Eng. "Mokhtar Abdel Latif", Chairman of the Arab Organization for Industrialization, expressed his appreciation and pride in this cooperation with the Ministry of Agriculture and Land Reclamation, and its support for all aspects of joint cooperation, stressing the interest of the Arab Organization for Industrialization in enhancing the slogan (Made in Egypt).

He explained that the agreed upon areas of cooperation include various fields, including localizing the perfume industry, recycling agricultural waste, agricultural mechanization, agricultural equipment and machinery, and various modern irrigation methods, as well as various agricultural manufacturing fields. He stressed the interest of the Arab Organization for Industrialization in increasing the rates of local manufacturing, manufacturing what is imported, and producing national products that meet the needs of the local market at competitive prices that enjoy international quality standards.

For his part, Minister "Alaa Farouk", Minister of Agriculture and Land Reclamation, thanked Major General Eng. "Mokhtar Abdel Latif", Chairman of the Arab Organization for Industrialization, for the fruitful and constructive cooperation in all joint files between the ministry and the organization,

stressing the provision of all the required support from the Ministry of Agriculture to expand the production and localization of the perfume industry in Egypt, and that In implementation of the directives of His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, to localize industries that are imported from abroad and drain the cash reserve, the Minister of Agriculture also directed the Ministry's leaders to remove any obstacles to the partnership with the Arab Organization for Industrialization, so that the implementation of the protocol can begin immediately, stressing the importance of agricultural manufacturing in achieving added value to the national product, providing job opportunities, and opening new horizons for export that contribute to bringing hard currency to Egypt.
