Chairman of the AOI Participates in the Second International Conference on Technological Education

Major General Eng. Mokhtar  Abdellatif, Chairman of the Arab Organization for Industrialization, participated in the Second International Conference on Technological Education, organized by the Supreme Council for Technological Education, affiliated with the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, from April 8 to 10 at a Cairo hotel.

The conference, held under the theme "Education Today for the Jobs of Tomorrow," featured broad international participation from technology education experts from around the world. Also participating were Dr. Ashraf Sobhi, Minister of Youth and Sports, Dr. Mohamed Gebran, Minister of Labor, and leaders from the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the Ministry of Education and Technical Education.

 

During the conference, Major General Eng. Mokhtar Abdellatif emphasized the importance of technical and technological education and the need to enhance it across all fields to serve various industrial sectors with trained human resources, utilizing the latest digital manufacturing techniques.

 

 He added that the Arab Organization for Industrialization (AOI) recognized the importance of technical and technological education early on and established, in cooperation with the Ministry of Education and Technical Education, a dual education and training school to prepare qualified technical personnel to meet the needs of the labor market.

 

 He also noted that the AOI has established two training academies to train engineers, technicians, and students from engineering colleges and institutes.

 

 He stated that the conference represents an important platform for promoting dialogue on the future of technological education and building professional relationships that contribute to linking education and scientific research, meeting the needs of the global market, in line with Egypt's Vision 2030 and the Sustainable Development Goals.

 

The Chairman of the AOI also expressed his appreciation for the outstanding efforts of the organizers of this important conference, emphasizing the organization's aspiration to enhance cooperation in the field of technological education.
