Minister of Environment and Energy of the Republic of Malta Praises the Advanced Manufacturing Capabilities of the AOI In the Fields of Renewable Energy and Green Economy

Major General Engineer "Mokhtar Abdel Latif" explained that the Arab Organization for Industrialization is looking forward to enhancing joint cooperation and increasing investment and partnership opportunities in the fields of renewable energy and green economy, noting the welcome of cooperation with the public and private sectors in the Republic of Malta, in various manufacturing fields.

 

He added that the Arab Organization for Industrialization enjoys the flexibility provided by its international regulations and enables it to achieve international partnerships in all areas of industry.

 

This came during the reception of Major General Engineer "Abdel Rahman Abdel Azim Othman", General  Director of the Arab Organization for Industrialization, H.E. Minister. "Miriam Dalli", Minister of Environment and Energy of the Republic of Malta and the accompanying delegation, and  H.E.Mr. "Roberto Pace", Ambassador of Malta in Cairo.

 

In the presence of Engineer "Ghada El Gendy", Executive Director of the Arab Company for Renewable Energy, affiliated to the AOI.

With the participation of Major General "Mohamed Eissa", Head of the Central Administration for International Cooperation and Agreements, from the Ministry of Electricity and Renewable Energy.

 

The discussions addressed the use of advanced manufacturing capabilities at the Arab Organization for Industrialization and attracting investments in the field of renewable energy, in cooperation with the Ministry of Environment and Energy of the Republic of Malta.

 

During the visit, Major General Engineer "Abdel Rahman Abdel Azim Othman", General  Director of the Arab Organization for Industrialization,  H.E. Minister. "Miriam Dalli", Minister of Environment and Energy of the Republic of Malta, and the accompanying delegation   inspected the Arab Renewable Energy Company affiliated with the AOI, where they were briefed on the most important projects and listened to an explanation from the company's engineers and technicians regarding the stages of advanced solar panel production lines, the latest machines, solar panel cleaning methods and the organization's various manufacturing capabilities in the field of renewable energy.

 

They also inspected the Arab Organization for Industrialization's solar power station at the headquarters of the Arab Renewable Energy Company, which is connected to the national electricity grid, and saw the fixed and mobile panels at the station and expressed their admiration for the advanced solar panel cleaning methods, designed, implemented and maintained by the organization's human cadres.

 

For her part, H.E. Minister. "Miriam Dalli", Minister of Environment and Energy of the Republic of Malta and the accompanying delegation    , expressed her admiration and appreciation for the advanced manufacturing capabilities of the Arab Organization for Industrialization in the field of renewable energy, pointing out the importance of inviting major companies and investors in Malta to inspect the factories and companies of the Arab Organization for Industrialization, the industrial backbone of the Egyptian state, to discuss benefiting from the great investment capabilities of the organization, which contributes to increasing the volume of targeted trade exchange between the two countries during the coming period, which would contribute to establishing promising industrial partnerships and opening up investment horizons, exchanging expertise and integration between the two sides.

The Minister stressed the importance of supporting solar energy projects between the two sides and benefiting from the mutual advantages of the geographical location and exchanging expertise in the field of renewable energy.
